Rehabilitation of UF-100 Reverse Rush Line & UF-50 Backwash Line
Filtrum Philippines was tasked with restoring and optimizing the UF-100 Reverse Rush Line and UF-50 Backwash Line at Maynilad’s Putatan Water Treatment Plant 1 — a critical facility that supplies potable water to large communities in Metro Manila.
This project involved:
System rehabilitation to improve filtration efficiency
Reconfiguration and restoration of membrane filtration components

Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) Retrofit — East Avenue Sewage Treatment Plant
Filtrum Philippines supported Manila Water in upgrading the East Avenue Sewage Treatment Plant through a Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) retrofit, designed to improve effluent quality and meet stricter environmental regulations.
Scope of work included:
Integration of advanced BNR processes to reduce nitrogen and phosphorus
